We've had some great fixtures this week, please do head to https://sport.willingtonschool.co.uk for match reports and results. Elsewhere in games, we've been working really hard on our batting skills. Mr Jaffer knows what it takes to build a well rounded cricketer and being able to hit (whack) the ball is a key component, so in each of our lessons we've aimed to get our boys and girls hitting around 60 (sometimes more) shots. It's been a fun week.

I'm having a few queries regarding the Junior and Senor sports days, essentially we're going to revise the dates based on what the Prime Minister says over the next week or so as we want parents to come and watch, so I'll be in touch soon with a decision.

In other news, we've re-introduced our Sports Stars of the week, so look out for some happy children coming home with certificates. To receive a certificate, we're looking at behaviour, effort, coachability and a desire to improve and of course, the school values. This week's recipients are below.

*Sports Stars of the Week*

  1. Pre-Prep - Andrew Totsky, Dylan Kempink
  2. Prep - Orson Jones, Lucas Danson, Joshua Overend

A week in pictures are below. Have a lovely weekend.
